Arnostae
Hi guysStill having a bit of trouble with my N710. It's now recording fine (when I remember to set the volume levels properly - don't suppose there's any way to stop it resetting to auto volume every time?), but it randomly turns itself off at times. I looked in the troubleshooting in the manual, and all it suggests is that it's trying to overwrite a track that's been checked out, but I've been using blank discs, so that can't be the problem. It does it even when the hold switch is on. Any ideas? It's also refusing to recognise the gumstick battery at all. I can run it okay off a rechargeable AA in the dock, but it's a pest. I'm fairly sure it's a problem with the MD itself, not the battery, as I've tried both the NH-10 that came with it and a brand new NH-14.Any help would be much appreciated.Alison
jonny mac
My N710 started to switch itself off randomly. I sent it to be repaired twice and both times it came back with Sony saying they couldn't find a fault. I think it was a problem with the battery connection.Sorry I can't be of more help, I doubt there's anything you can do.
