VanJay011379
Hi,I have a minidisc that was scratched in my pocket. The disc inside the plastic is actually scratched and skips. Is there anyway to buff this out? I have a disc doctor for my CDs. How can I buff the disc inside the plastic case? However, is the minidisc disc more fragile?Any suggestions?Cheers,Chris
MDfreak
Throw away the disc and buy a new one.MD-discs are totally different from CD's. Also most of the disc-cleaner products are meant for CD-R and not for recordable media. Furthermore it is almost impossible to remove the disc from the casing. Hence, I don't want to just throw it away.
KrazyIvan
You probably scratched off some of the magnetic surface so it is pretty much trash now. Just record it to your PC and save what you can now. If it is too far gone then it is too far gone I am afraid. One question. How in the world did it get scratched? Did you take off the metal shutter?
