Mini disc for T.V. audio?

Hi,

I'm currently working on a tv pilot and I want to use mini disc for the audio

Ive heard good reports running it through the mini dv camera

What are the best lavalier type mics that I can get for my minidisc

this will be a wireless set-up

I could go and buy broadcast quality mics......

but do I need a pre amp, battery module, attenuator to get the best sound from my mics

most mics with a 3.5 plug require a 1.5v-9v

is better the voltage, better the quality??

it wont be a loud sounding recording

I tried using Audio Technica ATR 35s lavalier microphones on my Sony MZ-R70

and on the recording was this background hissing

any help would be great
