Greykin
I tried reading the FAQ about SonicStage software, and tried to uninstall it that way after things didn't work, got rid of the registry files and all.So I'm out of luck now, I have SonicStage 1.5 and I want to install 3.4, but I can't without uninstalling 1.5 fully. The reason I want to use the newer version of SonicStage is because lately my MD player (MZ-NE410 MDLP) has been transferring songs over, to have it run 2x the normal speed and skipping a lot. Thanks,Peter

Ishiyoshi
Welcome to MDCF, Greykin! You did not state your Windows version. Thus, I will assume you are employing a variant of WinXP. Regardless, try and boot your Windows in SAFE mode and uninstall SonicStage 1.5 accordingly. Then reboot and run either MDCF's Full SonicStage 3.4 Installer or one of the official SonicStage web-installer accordingly. Report back if this works. Otherwise, please elaborate your problem further with the following information: exact message from the error window; if possible a screen capture of it as well. provide us your system info as we have outlined within the Software FAQ.I am moving this thread to software section of the forum.
