I need to do a 9v Battery Box for a AT 831R Mic that only works on 9v-52v DC, 2 mA typical phantom power.

Any schematics etc. from someone who has built one, or knows how to, are appreciated.

Oh, I also built the circuit in a box not long ago:

p.s. I used 2x 9V blocks in series to have about 18V. Otherwise you will get close to limit on which most mics don't work anymore. Also it is better to have a higher voltage when your mic has to deal with higher pressure-levels.

Thanks for that, But I will record on a Single XLR connected (AT831R) mic, not two.

I plan to have a Stereo 3.5mm into the MD to avoid one silent channel and one with sound.

Any info and schematics on that would be appreciated.
