Radio on/off switch

I have the MX-NF810 Mini disc player/recorder with the RM-MC37LT remote control/radio.

The on/off switch for the radio just doesn't work (it used to, but it doesn't anymore). The disc player clicks when I press the button so there is some connection but the radio does not come on. However, I can still control the disc player function from the remote.

I am wondering if there is a simple solution to this.

If not, what are my chances of getting if fixed/replaced?

Any suggestions, appreciated.

It sounds like there may be a fault on your FM/AM remote.

If you are unable to either (a) try your remote in another "FM/AM" player (not all will accept a radio remote or (B) try your player with another radio remote, you might be able to pick a new or second-hand remote up off the net, for example EBay. They shouldn't be too expensive.

I use radio remotes occasionally, and they are really handy, IMHO, even though it isn't exactly a "top notch" FM receiver.

Best of luck

Your chances are good for a replacement, if you can't get it worked out or fixed. eBay has several 37lt's selling new for reasonable prices (US$24-30) as opposed to e-tailers like Audiocubes (US$230, yes two HUNDRED thirty). Good luck!
