Schizo.Rabby Posted January 11, 2006 Report Share Posted January 11, 2006 I read somewhere (sorry I can't be more specific as to where) that once sonic stage is installed on a computer and is used with a walkman device, the walkman can't be used with any other computer with sonic stage without all the music on it being deleted.Whether or not that is true, does it occur with Connect player and the new A series walkmans? In 2006, can it really be true that you cannot "Connect" (pun) your NW-A to multiple PC's? That's pretty laughable, as I don't know of a single MP3 player aside from Sony that has this dumb limitation...They have a mammoth job to catch up with Apple, and sticking to their prioritery formats, codecs and transfer methods is simply going to kill them. C_player Posted January 12, 2006 Report Share Posted January 12, 2006 I regularly move my Walkman between two different PCs and have no problems at all.Unless you are trying to do something bad (re: illegal) with purchased music from an online music store, there should be no reason why you can't move the device to any PC you want and copy ripped OMAs, MP3s, WAVs, and WMAs to it all day long.
