Winston Gervais
I've been trying to find the answer to this one for a while and have been directed to this forum. Anyway, my question is this. I have a pile of MD data discs which are full of tracks that i recorded when i had a yamaha MD 4 track recorder. I'd like to be able to transfer these tracks onto my pc but do not have the recorder anymore. I've tried to play the MD data discs on a normal minidisc player but this only gave me access to tracks one and two. Anyone know how i can get these tracks onto my pc without forking out for a new recorder??? Any help would be gratefully appreciated. raintheory
How many discs are there? The 4-track recorders are the only recorders that can play these back correctly... Perhaps you can find someone with a 4-track recorder that would be willing to mix-down your discs for you? Alternately, you may be able to find a fairly cheap, used 4-track MD recorder on eBay.
