tjc
My son has a little-used Sony MZ-R70 player that he wants to sell. Will he do better posting to the classifieds here or putting it on ebay? Also, what is a reasonable price to ask for the unit? Thanks.Jeff
jaylen
Why not both? If you do a search on eBay for "Sony R70," you can see that on average, that unit (depending on accessories and what-not) has been selling for US$50. You can always put it on eBay and then post a link to your auction in here. Posting pictures is a must if you want interest in your R70 as there aren't too many people who want legacy units now that Hi-MD is becoming affordable. But, you never know who is lurking these forums - legacy fanatics, MD collectors, R70 users, etc. Good luck!

Not having checked minidisc.org for quite a while, I had not heard of Hi-MD until today.
