Levanel
.. in the movie "Interview with the Vampire"?Kinda' embarrassing to not know a track's origin for almost a decade now, when it's been on my mind wherever I go. Here's the sample I pulled off the movie:http://wm.tx0.org/tmp/iwtv.mp3I also heard this briefly in "The Pianist".

If it was indeed in the Pianist, it's possible that it was a piece composed by Chopin. I have the Pianist soundtrack but didn't hear it on there... I'll let you know if I find it (if you happen to find it, let me know).

Rumz
Haydn's Piano Sonata #59 in E Flat (2), Adagio E Cantabile - just over 3 minutes into the track.Nice work. I listened to any samples I could find of that Haydn track but obviously none were long enough You a classical fan? Levanel
Haha, wow. All this time I thought it was something other than Haydn. What the heck ..Thanks a bunch.
jaylen
The version in Interview with a Vampire has been "Hollywood-ed" unfortunately, so I'm not sure if you'd be able to recognize it right off the bat. Haydn's original is faster and brighter, not so morose - I'm assuming they slowed down the tempo to create a more dramatic effect. I'm not really a classical fan, but I don't mind listening to it. This piece was part of a recital that I heard someone practice over and over and over... lol. I found a midi site for Haydn: http://www.kunstderfuge.com/haydn.htm. If you go about 2 1/2 minutes into the clip, you will recognize it.
