Thanks to Connect the best way i find of protecting it is by keeping it in the box it came in !!!

Seriously tho', i have a soft case and a leather case, i prefer the soft case as it isn't as 'bulky' as the leather one, only downside with the soft case is that the material 'snags' very easily.

hello

i use for the my two players the sony bags designed for them, for the NW-Hd5 this is only some textile bag and for the NW-A3000 its a pretty thin soft bag

so i bought myself a little waterproof bag designed for digital cameras, this is quite big but offers a quite good upholstery, which in my opinion is the most important thing. Thoug i use it only for "heavy duty"

greetings steve

I have a silicon case, two niggles I can pick with it though:

1. Doesn't protect screen

2. Hole isn't big enough to plug in USB cable, have to take off silicon case which is very inconvenient.

I've cut a bigger hole in the bottom of mine with scissors and now I'm reasonably happy, though not impressed.

3. Also, dust and dirt sticks to the silicon quite easily, I had it lying on my carpet (BIG MISTAKE).

I've got the silicon case now, I would agree with chriswyatt that there is no protection for the screen, the hole for the USB is big enough, they must have changed the hole size already. My only other comment would be that my NW-A3000 doesn't look as pretty in its new jacket but hey, at least its protected now. B)
