TheBigBad17
Hi,I have a problem with SonicStage 3.4. When trying to transfer more than 1 item (be it an album or a track, in other words, seleting more than 1 item in the left pane and click the transfer button), SonicStage will sit there doing nothing. The status says "Trasferring" and switches between track name of the first track and 0%, and doesn't go anywhere. In addition, when I click Stop it will say "Do not disconnect" and again, nothing happens (even after four hours!). If I want to go back and try again I have to kill the OMGJBOX process. For now, I have to transfer thinsg one at a time, which on a HiMD takes forever, but at least it works. This happens when transferring as MP3 or converting to ATRAC.I just tried adding an album then adding another while the first transfer is half-done and at that point it stops as described above.I did a quick search and found nothing related. has anyone else had this problem? Possible solutions?TIA Edited June 19, 2006 by TheBigBad17
raintheory
Try transferring one track, and while that is converting/transferring, select the rest and send them over.I think I remember seeing this as a workaround here before, might be worth a shot! Also, you may want to try installing the newest version of SonicStage (version 4) which may resolve the issue.Download links for SonicStage CP (version 4): http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=9586
TheBigBad17
Thanks. I tried that (I edited my post, should have refreshed first), and it still happened. Trying 4 now...
TheBigBad17
4 worked like a charm. Thanks.Edit: Scratch that. After 1 or 2 successful sessions, I came back today to record a new disc and its back to the same. Guess I have to babysit the ocmputer, something I *really* enjoy doing considering it takes over 2 hours to fill a hImd.
