vmurthy
Hi, don't yell at me if i sound stupid :-) i have owned MZ NE 410 player for more than 3 years. i have used it for two years and i was very satisfied with its performance and it still works great. the only irritating thing for me now is the 180 MB mini disks. is there a way to use HI-MD disks on my MZ 410 player ? because i am almost on the verge of moving on to ipod. but i love my md player and want to stick with it for atleast some more time provided i can use a HI-MD disk on it. any help is greatly appreciated.thx

raintheory
The 180mb MiniDiscs are the normal MiniDiscs, which should be compatible with all units (except maybe some multi-track recorders which require MD-DATA). Actually they hold more when used with a Hi-MD recorder. The 1GB Hi-MD discs will only work on a Hi-MD recorder. mestkidd
mdowner2003,No you can't use HiMD's on your MZN-E410 you will be better off getting a HiMD recorder, it can use HiMD's and normal 180 Mb MD's.Aaron....
