Xanzibar
I recently bought my first minidisk player, a MZ-RH910 but I cant record on it. I’ve tried sonic stage (V3) and simple burner (V2), 48 kbps and 64, audio CD’s and MP3s, different discs - no luck. Recording goes OK at first but then it just stops for no apparent reason. The disc certainly isn’t full and the batteries are charged. When it happens, the Hi-MD window in sonic stage displays the message: cannot use this disc as an audio disc because it was initialised by a program other than sonic stage. In simple burner it says: cannot continue because files on this disc are being used by another program. On the player itself I see: cannot record or play. According to the user manual my only option is to re-format the disc and start again. Most recently this happened half way through recording my 10th CD so over 100 songs recorded before the crash. I using windows 98 SE.Any help would be appreciated.
Xanzibar
I eventually found out how to fix this. But thanks anyway for all the really helpful replies.
Justin42
How did you end up fixing it?It's obviously not a common problem, or else people would've helped. I've never seen anything like that before...
