DaveElson
Hi allBeen a fan of MD for some years now and recently purchased a Sony RH-910.My question isn't regarding how to record live - it's how to make sure those live recordings I do have will transfer to MD without a 2 second gap.Have to be honest and say I haven't tried it yet with any of them, I'm having fun copying my prog rock onto the numerous older MD's I have - nad so much space (even on those).Anyway - any advice on this appreciated.Thanks. KrazyIvan
Usually your burning software will have some setting to disable the 2 second gap. In Nero you just check the box:EDIT, sorry I thought you were talking about burning a CD. You have the live recordings on CD? I am not sure I understand. If the live recordings are on MD they should have no gaps. Edited July 7, 2006 by KrazyIvan

Wow... this is a difficult forum to navigate imho.KrazyIvan - thanks for taking the trouble to reply.I was concerned about copying a live cd that had no gaps onto MD.I did try (after my first post) a live bootleg I had and, it plays fine - no gaps at all so it looks like the software recognises this. All seems to be well. Thanks again. KrazyIvan
As you discovered, recording a CD to MD that has no gaps will remain gapless.
