raintheory
SonicStage CP (SonicStage v4) is the newest one:http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=9586

raintheory
Either SonicStage v3.4 or SonicStage CP (CP stands for Connect Player) v4 should do the trick. The additional features of SonicStage CP AFAIK don't incude anything relevant to Hi-MD.Although I think SonicStage CP is compatible with AAC files, not sure if 3.4 is...For stability's sake you would definitely want one of those two though. Justin42
May as well get CP 4.0, just because they don't say there are improvements it quite possibly has some behind the scenes tweaks. As much as SonicStage is horrible, it does seem like each version is ever-so-slightly better than the one before it.I personally think CP 4.0 is a bit more stable than SS 3.4, but that's just my experience with pretty limited testing. Kevin J
I personally think CP 4.0 is a bit more stable than SS 3.4, but that's just my experience with pretty limited testing.I would think that the Connect Player feature of CP 4.0 takes up more memory than ver 3.4, hence making it not as "lean" as ver 3.4, yes? Justin42
I hardly think ANY version of SS could be considered "lean" in the slightest! I don't think there's much more to "Connect Player" than the name. It's still referred to as "SonicStage 4.0" on the About menu.I've never really done RAM tests but it always takes too much, and I don't notice 4.0 being any worse.. (~60mb at startup)
