Mp3 in nw-a1000?

Hello, i'm from spain so sorry for my bad english. Recently I bought a nw-a1000 and i'm not able to play mp3 files, all I transfer from connect player is automatically converted into atrac3. What must I do to transfer mp3 and the unit be able to play it?? Tahnks!!

Hi,

In the Connect software, go to 'Tools', then 'Preferences'. In the Preference Window, click on 'File Formats' (under NW-A1000). There's an option called 'Use preferred file format when' - set that to 'Only convert non-supported content'.

I guess the problem you have is that this option is set to 'Convert all content to this format', which would convert all file formats to whatever format 'Preferred file format on device' is set to (ATRAC, in your case).
