Adding CDs to Hi MD from Lossless Rips

I ripped every one of my CDS a while ago to Monkeys Audio (ape) lossless format and they are on the hard drive so I don't want to rip the CDs to put on himd disc again. I know sonicstage doesn't support monkeys audio format (is there a way to do this?) Is there a lossless audio format I could convert to and then import them to sonicstage?

If there isnt a lossless one, lossy, compressed audio formats would be ok aslong as they are gapless. I would really like to be able to listen to CDs without gaps, because some of my CDs have songs spanned over 2 tracks or 2 lossless files so its good without a gap.

I would appreciate any help because I am new to minidisc and Hi-MD and sonicstage

If you still have the original CDs you can use SimpleBurner (from Downloads here or from Sony). Just open the program, connect the MD unit via USB, put the CD in the drive and Simple Burner will get track info from CDDB and rip the CD to minidisc without leaving anything on your hard drive. I'm pretty sure it's gapless if the original CD is gapless.

Once you break a CD into individual tracks, there is always the potential of loosing gapless. Most CD rippers will add some empty frames for lead-in/out of each track, not a problem with regular tracks, but will ruin gapless tracks. There is an option to disable this in EAC. I think Sonicstage cannot import WAV gaplessly anyway, if the WAVs are seperated tracks. This is why I always backup my AudioCDs into an image WAV (1 big WAV file) + CUE sheet to store track information. This way I don't loose any gaplessness.

Thanks for your help. I ripped using EAC with all the right gap settings so they are exactly the same as the original tracks. That is why I would rather not have to rip again, but if its just for a few CDs I guess it would be ok.
