Ishiyoshi Posted August 26, 2006 Report Share Posted August 26, 2006 Converting the unit itself to a 110/120V unit may end up being more expensive than simply acquiring an additional Step Up-Down Voltage Transformer/Converter. A simple 1000W capacity Step Up-Down Voltage Transformer/Converter (usually have about 2 to 3 outlets) can be used safely for extended periods and typically have an average price tag of USD$60 or more depending on brand.Good luck and do keep us posted.
