Need Help: Burning Atrac3plus CD

Hi, I am new to this board and new to using Sonicstage 4.0 as well.

I have been trying to burn an Atrac3plus CD with my Mp3 files (with the conversion and burning on-the-fly). What is really annoying is that there would always be a certain song (always the last one of the whole group) that just STOPS at 69%. It would stay at "Converting... 69%" for hours and hours and nothing would change. As a result I am unable to burn any Atrac3plus CDs.

Does anyone know how this problem could be fixed?

Windows XP Service Pack 2

Sonicstage 4.0

I had the same problem (except I was using Win2K SP4). I was unable to get CD burning to work on SS 4.0. I downgraded to version 3.4 and it works fine. Unless you absolutely need 4.0 for some reason, try the earlier version.

aaah I see, thanks! do you know how I can downgrade?

Same thing has happened to me, and it did begin when I upgraded to SS 4.0...

Same exact problem. Have been trying for hours. Sometimes, if I try just 1 or 2 songs it might work, but, even then it is hit or miss. Otherwise, all I am trying to do is take already formatted Atrac3 files, and transfer to Cd, and it just hangs on 69%. I can't believe Sony's website has nothing on this. I am so frustrated with this crap software. Anybody know anything? Help!!!!!!

I am happy to report that Sony seems to have fixed this problem with SonicStage 4.2--CDs burn correctly now.
