souwalker
I read and re-read the manual but I am still not certain whther the above recorder will add a track mark right after I press the pause button. That is, the moment I re-press the pause button to restart recording, the NH600 will create a new track mark.I am trying to achieve the following:-Record a live rehearsal of a song-press pause to pause the recording-repress pause to start recording of another song. This way, when I transfer to PC, each song has it's own track no. and so much easier to manage. Will this work or is there a more simpler method to add track mark without too much fiddling during recording. Many ThanksPat

A440
I don't have a NH600, but Pause during recording creates a track mark on every other MD unit I've ever owned. I don't think the NH600 will be any different.

WaywardTraveller
If it helps, keep in mind that even if the NH600 adds track marks, you can always go back and Combine tracks that should be kept together. I don't have my manual on me, so I'm not sure if there's also a way to turn this auto track-mark off...?peaceWaywardTraveller
scalby
I have a MZ-NH600 and the way to add T Marks is with the larger button to the left of the pause button. The way I do it is after I have recorded something I listen to it and add the track marks at that end of each track . Or watch the timer and then rewind and play again so that you can mark it at that timer place.Good Luck
