drikk Posted September 25, 2006 Report Share Posted September 25, 2006 i stopped using my mz-ne410 for about 2 months, and when i started using it again, i had the following problem :simple burner told me:it starts recording , gets to 98% of the first track and then: "recording from audio cd is failed". sonicstage: tells me to run system restore or something like that, but i currently dont have internet on the computer i use for my md.any help would be greatly appreciated,and i apologize if this was already adressed. A440 Posted September 25, 2006 Report Share Posted September 25, 2006 You can download Simple Burner again from Downloads (top left corner on this page) and install it again, and see if that works. It's also possible that the CD is copy-protected. Can you rip the CD to mp3 on your computer (with iTunes or, also in downloads, dbpoweramp)? If you can't the problem is the CD itself. . raintheory Posted September 27, 2006 Report Share Posted September 27, 2006 (edited) Yeah that might be the problem. SonicStage is now at version 4.0 and a lot of issues/bugs have been fixed. Version 4.0 is a web installer only, although there is an offline installer for version 3.4 in the downloads secion here (along with an updated simpleburner, as A440 mentioned).Follow the instructions in this thread to completely uninstall the old version and install version 3.4 - http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=8071 Edited September 27, 2006 by raintheory Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
