wavetrapper
Hi,After a few days of research, I have decided to get the MZ-NH700 and jump into Hi-MD.I am seeing new prices in the $170-$180 range from a few U.S. places. If anyone has recently purchased one for less in the U.S., I would appreciate knowing where. Thanks!
A440
They seem to be going for a little less on Ebay. Sellers like pramit and digitallimits seem to still have new ones from the Australian closeout. If I remember right, someone on this forum had trouble with pramit, but nearly all of his (?) feedback is positive. http://search-completed.ebay.com/MZ-NH700_...aadvsearchQ3aUS
jaylen
Pramit and digitallimits operate under the same company, Shewas, based in California. I've had some friends buy new NH700s from them many months ago - one auctioned for $80, shipped, and another with buy-it-now of $125, shipped. Their auction and buy-it-now prices run higher now that they've become a popular seller. That forumer had problems with pramit because they 1) bought a used unit, and 2) it was specifically auctioned as "as-is, no returns," yet that forumer tried to return it. Edit: I'm thinking that their used units are all customer returns as these 2 sellers have a 1-year warranty on all their new units. If you buy used from them, you're taking a big risk. You'll either get a used unit that they were able to fix, or one that they couldn't fix.Good luck!
