Jenni
Hello,I hope to spend some time this w/e putting my music on to my new external hard drive. I plan to initialise my HD5 and delete all songs from my pc before starting. So I start with a completely ‘clean’ system. I have SS 3.3 loaded and it seems to work ok. Is it best for me to use SS to get my music onto the ext’HD, or would it be better to use Windows Media Player / Quicktime or something else?If I don’t use SS to upload my music, presumably I’d then need another operation to get it into my SS library?I want to end-up with 2 music ‘stores’ one of MP3 and one the same music as in the MP3 but in Atrac format. Last time I transferred my songs to the HD5 it converted from MP3 to Atrac at the same time and this made it take ages. Is there a way to take my MP3 collection and convert it to Atrac before transferring it to the player? And now thers's SS 3.4, should I update to that? Thanks for your help.Jenni. Guest Stuge
Jenni ,Right now i will suggest you to upgrade your SSver 3.3 to 3.4.Then we will guide you accordingly. You can do that in SS ver3.3 by right clicking on the mp3 song & Clicking on the tab "convert"
