Midnght
Hard to explain in a title.Anyway I've got an MZ-R900 (bought before netmd came out, oh well) now and then when i'm listening to my disks the music will stop and i get dead air then it comes back in a moment. Now there's no missing data on the disk i can rewind and hear what was missed. It's just like it plays for a while and gets to hot and skips over some spaces now and then.Is this just a dirty player? Or is there something else wrong with my old unit? It has been dropped a few times though only once directly to concrete that munched the aluminum eject button protector. But all in all there's no problems it's a solid piece of equip. But now and then there's hits blank space any help woudl be greatly appreciated.
eriktous
Might just be a dirty optical head.First thing you should try is cleaning it. Use one of those cleaning disks, if you happen to have one, or use a cotton swab to clean the lens (just be very careful).
