bluecaboose
Hi Everyone!HELP! I own a Hi-MD MZ10! Downloaded the Hi-MD Music Transfer for Mac Ver.2.0 software and installed it on my Mac 12" G4 (OSX 4.8) laptop in mid September. Things worked fine for a while. Recently, after not using my recorder for a while, I have encountered a PROBLEM. When I plug the recorder into my computers USB port, I get an ERROR MESSAGE that reads DISK INSERTION - The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer. This is extremely puzzling to me. I contacted SONY and the assistant had NO ANSWERS for me. We came to the conclusion that it was a possible software conflict/incompatibility. So I installed the Hi-MD Music Transfer for Mac Ver.2.0 software onto my wife's G5 (OSX 4.8). The result was positive! The software works perfectly!! What might be the software conflict/incompatibility causing the above message? Do ANYONE have any insight into this issue? I would appreciate any feedback that you could provide.I have done ALL the necessary troubleshooting (uninstall-reinstall-discarded preferences, etc.) and still no answer. So…what you say/recommend? jb
