granbajo
Any idea how does that Artist Link feature work?I have 3300 songs in CP. I had disabled the artist link feature because things had been too slow with the older version. But since 1.03 seemed a bit more stable, I have turned it back on again... however, it seems that it just goes over the track list continuosly non-stop! I have seen a few songs pop-up more than once at the bottom of the screen. Perhaps it is worth turning it on for a while and then turning it off again
PAStheLoD
Hello,i've also tried enabling the "network" and "internet" features in CP, because the fav 100 (top 100) and play history function would be a great thing to use, but it simply doesen't do anything.I've connected my A3000 .. connect synchronised .. 100%.. and nothing. I've plugged out .. and tried to access play history .. and "please connect compliant software" .. two words sony "f.. y.." :C
granbajo
The way I have mine working at the moment... is that I have enabled internet functions, but disabled artist link (I have another post... because I think Artist link messed up my release years!)... It works OK. Play history and Fav 100 take a day or 2 to start working as far as I can remember. I sync manually though

Zombie1000
To use My favourite 100 and play history you actually have to play music on your player and then when you next connect to Connect it sorts everything out for you depedning on what you have been listening to, I found it actually to be really good. Connect won't create a top 100 based on what you listen to in connect although it does influence the Intelligent Shuffle feature (which above all of Connects other quirks I think is the best shuffle out there) within connect. Also if you want Artist Link to work trying enabling it in connects options then plug the player in and just leave connect up and the player plugged in for awhile, connect only seems for me to update artist link when everything else is done and when it's pretty idle.HTHSimon
chriswyatt
I made a clean album with loads of cleaned up versions of tracks so that I can play them on this community radio station in my town, but Connect basically got rid of my clean album and put all the tracks in random, completely seperate albums . I think I prefer naming the tracks myself because the CDDB databases is so chock full of mistakes, I've tried correcting them a few times and uploading them back to CDDB but they never update it with my versions.
