derekoger
I am trying to play lengthy live recording I just made on my RH-10 using a 1GB Hi-MD disc, and I get a "Format Disc Error". Then the unit prompts me to "Format to Record or Play; push Yes: Enter, No: Cancel". Is it prompting me to format the disc - losing all of my data, so that the disc works again? I am afraid that the disc was used (recording) to its maximum storage - anyone have any experience in this. I've been using this unit since it came out 2 years ago, and have an old first generation unit that still works, and have had NO problems at all making live recordings and uploading them in the 6 years I've had them. Could this be my first data loss? Could be very costly.....Sonic stage 4.2 brings up the tracks for transfer, but is unable to read most of it, although does play about the first hour of the disc. Attempting to transfer the corrupt files produces no result, except for more error messages, and occasional OMG must shut down errors. Other discs work fine. Can anyone offer advice? Thanks
