Running Simple Burner on Vista

Hi there --some versions of VISTA will allow you to run Simple Burner. If you try and install "As IS" you'll get "Unsupported Operating system".

However if you can get Administrator access you can force Vista to run Simple Burner in "Compatability Mode" where the program is "Poodle Faked" (anybody who's ever restored antique furniture will know where this expression came from) into thinking it's running on XP. (Not sure if this works on the 64 bit version of Vista but it's fine on some 32 bit versions.

Open an Explorer window and navigate to the .EXE file for the program. Then...

Right click on the program file (the .EXE or .COM file).

Select Properties from the menu that pops up.

Select the Compatibility Tab in the dialog.

Cheers
