You'll need a device with a coaxial to optical converter, eg. this one: http://www.amazon.com/DAYTON-DAC-CO-COAXIA...R/dp/B0002MQGQI.

The copying will still be subject to SCMS, and the source disc won't be digitally copyable if it is copy protected by SCMS. Most (or all?) CD-R copies made on PC's are free of SCMS though, and of course analogue copies are always available.

There are also SCMS strippers available which usually have a built in coax-optical converter but these are very expensive.
