solomon707
How can you transfer playable audio files from a Mac to an MZ-RH1?
raintheory
Welcome to the forums. Download "Hi-MD Music Transfer for Macintosh v2.0" from the downloads section here in the forums. You can then drag .mp3 or .wav files into the program's window to transfer them to the unit. http://forums.minidisc.org/downloads/details.php?file=95 (the login is the same as the one you use here)If you installed the version that came with your unit, uninstall it and install this newer one. I'm unsure if the older version supports this feature or if it only allows uploads and not downloads.
solomon707
Thanks for the quick reply. Sony's instructions are useless for Macs, but I found the updated app on Sony's site right after I posted. Sound quality is awesome. As a fairly accomplished gadgeteer and former iPod user, the MZ-RH1 is undoubtedly my best recent acquisition. Can't wait to record some concerts!
