Problems upgrading Sonic Stage from 1.5 to 4.x

Hi to all,

Trying to upgrade from my 1.5 sonicstage I found and joined this forum.

My problem is that I've D/L 5 S/S programs, different versions yp to 4.2 and cannot install

any of them. I have unistalled the prvious ones, have cleaned the registry of any reference to either S/S or open MG but no sucess.

The installation starts and towards the an error window saying that cannot find the secure module and aborts.

At this moment I'm downloading again S/S but this time as an ISO file, to try an installation with a CD.

I have reinstalled the 1.5 version ( the one I got on cd when I bought My N10) and it works.

I have Win XP Pro, and the MZ-N10

Any Help appreciated

PS. Since I posted the above, I've downloaded and tried to install the S/S 3.2 from CD (it was an iso file that I downloaded)

It started the installation and when it reached the "secure module limited patch" aborted again.

Uninstall 1.5 and clean out the registry again according to the FAQ. Turn off antivirus, firewall, security, etc. software and try the CD from the ISO. It's your best chance.
