More than 1.20 lakhs Hens Died in Maharashtra (India )[ TV news Channel].Goverment Lab has confirmed that first case of Bird has been found .About 8 cases of bird flu have been confirmed in the district, CNN-IBN reported, quoting animal husbandry officials. The government has called for emergency meeting to discuss the situation at 1830 hrs.According to Jayant Gaikwad, collector of Nandurbar district, 27,000 chicken have died in Navapur in Nandurbar district in the last 10 days and a case of bird flu is suspected.Five central teams have visited the district to assess the situation. About 52 poultry farms are located in the Navapur area and the outbreak of bird flu has raised an alarm in the state.
