NW-A3000 18 or 20G?

Hi!

What about the real size of the HD of NW-A3000? When connected to latest connect player or sonicstage 3.4, both indicates capacity of 18G? Is that real size? Why then announcing 20G. I doubt that the running system will take disk space for 2G? Any ideas?

if its like the HD5 then its real size IS 20gb (which i found out when i nearly ofrmatted it during a linux install and put ext3 on there instead : but inly about 18.6 shows up. given that firmware fo thgese devices is not 2 gb i can only guess the rest is filled with all the rubbish that is needed to decode .dat's and .oma's without GYM..

IT is because Windows Calculate 1mb=1024kb & Sony calculate 1mb=1000kb.Also some space is also utilized by Firmware etc

So you will get only 18.2gb for Actual use only
