jeffmcnamee
I just got a MZ-NF610 NetMD recorder and love it. HOWEVER, friggin' SonicStage and my Windows XP-powered computer don't seem to like each other very much. SonicStage will record a few songs onto a MD and then force a reboot of my computer. It's done it 3 times now - twice with 4.3 and once with 4.0 (I tried the fix from another thread - didn't work). The songs that transferred sound great and have no problems. However, each time I start the program, I can get about 3 songs into the transfer and then it bongs out on me. Any help out there? HELP!!!!!JM
KJ_Palmer
You're probably best off not using SS version 4.3 with XP - it's really meant for Vista machines. 4.2 is very stable - you can get a European full installer here, or US version here or, since you're 'only' using a NetMD machine, 3.4 can be downloaded here in the downloads section and should be fine. You should do a full uninstall first. Edited July 27, 2007 by Borat
raintheory
To prevent your computer from rebooting itself:In control panel, double click "System"... Under the advanced tab click on the settings button beside "Startup and Recovery".. Now under "System Failure" uncheck "Automatically Restart".This will help further diagnose the problem, as the system won't reboot if something happens. Maybe we'll see an error message.
