Aaargh!

I have a regular minidisc that is a recording from a gig I did. It was recorded on another minidisc recorder and sent to me. I want to get this onto cd and when I try to transfer the files from my MZ-RH910 it tells me this...

Unable to transfer the following tracks to My Library because they are recorded by Net MD or another computer

I have installed Sonic Stage 4.3 in the hopes that it was the 'other computer' error. But why wouldn't I be able to transfer them otherwise? Does anyone know?! Everything seems to be going normally, the transfer starts, but then the error comes up.....

Hope someone out there knows what I am doing wrong!

Cheers

it comes up saying that it is mono - I guess I can't do it then?

Unfortunately, not digitally or faster than realtime: http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=7070

And if it was transferred via NetMD, not even an RH1 will be able to upload it..., that is, if it has been uploaded to a PC, & downloaded to MD in MD mode = NetMD.

RH1 + TOC cloning = Uploaded NetMD-transferred content. :)

Also his is MONO, so I don't think it came from the other PC via NetMD anyway. Still need the RH1 in order to be able to upload though.

Analog should work fine, most of us have been doing it that way for years before the advent of Hi-MD. If you are adamant about a digital transfer perhaps someone here with the RH1 could upload the disc to CD for you as a trade or something.
