Recording problem with Aiwa AM-F75

I have gotten a Minidisc Aiwa AM-F75, and it sounds very well. The problem is that I don't get that it records. Neither with micro neither with it optic line. It seems as if it records, but the only thing that makes is to leave blank the minidisc that I use, erasing the whole content that it has. I also believe that the TOC doesn't record.

Do somebody know that happens with my Minidisc?

Thanks a lot

Some of the early Sony's had a problem with the ribbon cable that goes to the record head, not an insurmountable problem to fix, but unless you are relatively sh=killed with working on small wires in confined places it would be best to try taking it to an audio shoppe. Are there any Aiwa service centres where you live? That's where I'de start if I were me.

Good luck,

Bob
