vore
I have been going back and forth on which unit to purchase and I decided on the M200 for the price, and the sellers reputation. (MiniDisco). Their offering the M200 for 350 plus a 20 dollar discount including delivery and no tax and it includes the mic. All an all that sounds pretty good.I'm still confused about one thing however. I know this unit will allow me to transfer my personal recordings to my computer AND allow me to edit them and then copy them to a CD. All of my personal minidisc recordings are recorded with standard LP4 (not HI-MD). On one sellers site I read that you can only transfer LP2 recordings or higher quality. I went to the web manual on this recorder but I can't find any reference to it.Before I purchase this model I just want to be sure I can do what I would like to do and why I'm buying it in the first place.I have many mini-disc recordings (2,000) recorded from the Sony MDS JE480 deck on LP4 mode. I want to HI-SPEED transfer these recordings to my computer, edit them (by adding/deleting tracks) and then ripping them to a CD.Thanks in advance for the response. I've never tried it myself, as I never used LP4 mode for anything.

(all my LP4 recordings are non musical, voice recordings)
raintheory
LP4 can be uploaded fine with the RH1/M200 and converted to WAV, which can be edited using Audacity or any other audio editing program.
