My RH1 is alway capable of record by optical and through USB Line. Some days before ,I accedently go into the service mode ,and set the address 1113 to SS0001.Then my RH1 can not record any more.I don`t know weather it was caused by the setting or something mechanical?

Can anybody tell me the what 1113 is and what value should it be?THANKS!!!

how to find 1113:

go into service mode->manual->push FF five times

Now when i is recording ,the RH1 perform all right,But when i try to stop recording,on the display panel it read "Data saving",then it stopped and displayed "SYSTEMFILE WRITE",and meanwhile i can hear the disk is alway rotating in the player and do not stop. What only i can do to stop it is cut off the power or open the player.

Possibly the service manual (available as a download) may have proper settings, as well, there may be a master reset. This just proves, don't mess with something that isn't broken. If you can't get it back to where you want, take it to Sony repair cenre, tell them what you've done, and hope they can get it back.

And then, don't mess with it

Good luck

1. Pushing FF five times in the Manual mode actually brings you to address 0113 used for regional settings. Both my RH1s have ***S03 (where *** change continuously) there. I set this myself, to remove the Eurocap (now both units think that they are in Japan). There is no way to set this address to anything like SS0001

2. To get to address 1113 from the Manual mode, you have to press Volume+, and then FF five times. Both my RH1s have SS00F1 there. Again, I see no easy way to set SS0001 there except by resetting the unit. Didn't you do anything at address 0111 by any chance?
