jlpera
If you have somehow erased or changed your files and cannot get them to play, it is worth sending them to the U.S. Sony Media Services office as they have relatively new recovery software from Japan. Even though they thought they would not be able to recover my audio files because even the file names and extensions got changed on the disk, they were able to do so. To contact them visit their webpage at http://www.sonymediaservices.com/ or call them at #866 347-7669. Ed Erfurd is who I worked with on my problem. On Sony Media Service's website there is a link to a form for data recovery services that you will need to fill out and send in with your disks. I believe they charge $40-50 USD for recovery.
