Computer reset

Ok so i reconverted my library from mp3s using sonic stage and there has not been any computer crashes sine, but now approximatly half the songs make digital glitching noises.

I have read that this is because I am using the LP4 mode. One thing to note is that when I recorded these same songs using openMG jukebox in LP4 mode, I did not have the glitching problem.

Any ideas on how I can improve this?

I am still having trouble. my computer has just been formatted and serviced. I downloaded sonicstage from this website and installed it. it made the first disc no trouble but now the computer keeps resetting halfway through making lp4 discs.

Right click on "My Computer"

Select "Properties"

Click the "Advanced" tab

Click the "startup and Recovery" Settings button

Uncheck "Automatically restart"

Click "OK" on both of the open windows

Try SonicStage again and when the computer crashes you should get an error instead of just restarting. Search google for the error you get after the crash.

To test your RAM you can try:

http://www.memtest.org/download/2.01/memte...2.01.floppy.zip (requires a floppy)

http://hcidesign.com/memtest/MemTest.zip

To stress test your CPU you can try:

http://www.xtremesystems.com/pi/super_pi_mod-1.5.zip

http://sp2004.fre3.com/sp2004exe_20060405.cab (reliable for stress testing RAM as well)
