Question

alright!

got a sony NW-HD1 player with mp3 upgrade already installed.

question, though! my music collection is on an external hard drive. should I install the new sonic stage 3.4 onto that hard drive? i have never used any sony software, sonicstage or connect or otherwise. i hear stories about ot being able to initialize on many computers. will installing onto my mobile hard drive work around that problem?

ALSO! i'm getting a Sony Ericcson w900i phone, so that'll take care of my flash memory needs. ahhhh YA

Congrats on the NW-HD1. You should try to avoid sonicstage at all costs, because there are simple alternatives which make life easier.

this is called MP3 music manager, and it works with the NW-HD1

there are limitations, but it's a easy drop and drag program.

If you don't like this try the vaio music transfer, you can get that on this site.

Hi Spew

Welcome to AtracLife!!

Are just going to use MP3 files on your HD1 or You want to use Atrac also ..

groove_9,

Sonic Stage ver3.4 is not that bad ..

I wil suggest you to use SonicStage ver3.4 (from Asia Pacific or Sony Overseas models )

Mp3 file manger is good but it will only allow you to tranfer mp3 files (not atrac) & it will not let you to edit tags .
