NW-HD3 Help

Hello,

I moved to a new pc and I wan't to continue adding songs to my mp3 player, however, it won't let me because I didn't authorize it, reason is it wouldn't want to authorize it at all, so I just didn't. I don't want to delete my songs, because it would be a huge pain in the butt to add them all over again. Anyway to get around it?

I have a HD3 too, but, i actually run it in two computers(home and office) and i can flawlessly transfer music with both PC's without authorizing, perhaps because I use Sonic Stage JEB version, downloaded here in the forum, i'd never run the installation cd.... maybe if you run this version, your unit can work with 2 or, maybe, i don't know, more PC's.. good luck!

You will need to Authorise it in order to use HD3 with Sonic Stage but you can still use mp3 file manager ver2.

Problem is, when I try to authorize it, it never works. I get the please hold on thing and nothing ever happens, for hours.

i'd never need to authorize my HD3, even since i connect my unit to my PC for the fisrt time, also, at the time, i'd never use Mp3 FileManager. My HD3 comes from US, but I live outside US (notice my english!), so, in order to use my HD3 whitout hassle, i previously install the latest version of SS (3.2 i think) JEB version -overseas version works good too-

I will suggest you to do one thing but i`m not sure whether it wil work or not ..

First Enter the Test MODE of HD3

then follow the directions given in hte picture :

Select Japan as your destination(Don`t select europe )

Thanks for the help, but I just deleted all of my tracks and now I successfully authorized my player to this pc. I guess I shouldn't have any more problems. Thank you again.

Nice to hear that your proble is solved but i thought that this tweak will remove the the authorization problem.
