mattsam Posted January 20, 2008 Report Share Posted January 20, 2008 Hello, wonder if anybody can help me...I've been running SonicStage 4.3 on a Dell laptop with Vista Home Premium with no problems at all since it came out last year, but all of a sudden it refuses to launch. Immediately after launch, Windows simply says that 'the application has stopped working' and closes it.I've uninstalled and re-installed & installed a security update from the Sony site to no avail. I have a feeling this may have something to do with a recent update from Dell to the SigmaTel audio output software on my laptop as it stopped working immediately after I installed this and a bunch of regular Vista updates. I've also tried stripping all these out and restarting SS but it doesn't seem to help and in the case of Sigmatel obviously leaves me with no sound output.I've emailed Sony & Dell but as you might expect, nothing back from them yet... would be very greatful for any help or advice.Thanks,mattSam Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
