ByteBowser
After recording tracks through the line input and importing them into SonicStage 4.3 with the MZ-M200, the Sony MP3 Conversion Tool works fine for converting ATRAC to MP3, but the “Use the track number…” feature of the “Use the track names for the MP3 file names” doesn’t seem to work (I get all zeros). Consequently, the file names end up alphabetized and don’t maintain the original track order. Has anyone else had the same results when converting your own recordings? Any solutions?ByteBowser
raintheory
You might want to try MarC's HiMDRenderer program: http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=12683He first created this program before Sony gave us the ability to convert OMA files. The program has grown significantly, and can convert to various formats (including Mp3). If the v0.54 from the link doesn't do track numbering correctly, search for the 1.00 beta of the same program and see if it fits the bill. ByteBowser
Thanks for your suggestion. I just had time to try the 0.54 version of HiMdRenderer, and it does exactly what I needed it to do, including inserting the track title into the MP3 ID3 title field. The beta 1.00 version doesn't seem to want to work in batch mode, though.BB
raintheory
I haven't used the beta personally. Glad to hear the 0.54 version did what you needed though!
marcnet
The batch mode crash has been fixed in 1.00 beta
