johnemoon Posted March 10, 2008 Report Share Posted March 10, 2008 (edited) Hello,Bit new to all this, but a seasoned MD user.Looking for larger Remotes for my portable MDs, or does anyone know how to build one.I am guessing that there is nothing in the little remotes other than switches and LCD info.A company called PASS in the UK used to make a Pass Big Button remote (with record) for Radio Journalists but the company is no longer around.Reason for wanting this is for a DJ type deck controlling up to 3 MDs, and i need to see what i am cueing up.What would be the Sony protocol for these little remotes.Suppose i could take one to bits and try to build a larger one, but some of you might have beaten me to it.I hope so..........Kind RegardsJohn**** update, after 3 hrs on this great site I now have all the info to build a test remote, very interesting.Now all i need is a larger LCD screen from pins 1 and 3.
