The situation is as follows.MY NH600 is working just fine on either computer. The problem is only with SonicStage. In my laptop it's purring along just as it should but in an older desktop it has a problem. The desktop runs on Windows XP Pro - the first version. (Because of a core limitation I can't upgrade to platform 2). In both machines I have installed version Open MG 2.0 GA and MD Simple Burner 2.0 from the disc included with the NH600. The more recent versions have no advantage to me. Almost all of the files that I need to transfer to Net MD are .wav files that have been saved from my editing system. I've been doing this for years with no trouble whatsoever on the old desk top. On this same comouter SonicStage performs as it should - importing files, playing files, recognizing the external drive - but as soon as it starts to transfer the files to Net MD it stops the process and puts up the explanation "cannot convert the specific track. SonicStage does not support the file format of the track.".

Odd but true.

Please let me know if you have any ideas about how to put this operation back on line.
