0 Guest Stuge
It seems to me that is some serious problem with the player .If you bought your player from retailer than i will advise you to exchange your player with a new one ..As this error is also not listed in Sony E505 pdf manual. Question
MaaloX
Hey all,
I am new here and this is my first post.
As you can tell from the topic I am having some memory issues.
When I turn on my 505 I get a memory error.
I have tried numerous times to format with no success.
IT just says format for a split second then the quits.
I can go to the advanced menu and scoll to look at the firmware and this is what it shows.
1.
2.512mb
3.
4.1.00
The player is still recognized in windows xp but when I try to install the new firmware it will go through all three
steps and then gives me the error of "there is not disk in the drive. please insert a disk into the drive"
I am at my witts end and I think this player is doomed.
