Question

Hi all,

My first post so please be nice :)

I have the NW-HD1 and recently I dropped the unit when I was playing it, and now the macine will no longer come on when I press any buttons. I have turned the battery off and on again but no joy, is there a reset button anywhere I can press? I have searched the forum and the net but cannot find any info on the subject. The unit is in good condition with no cracks or damage and the fall was not a hard one, so I cannot understand why it no longer powers up?

Any help would be gratefully recevied.

Thanks

Welcome to ATRACLife!

I am afraid we can't provide much assistance since your unit suffered a physical damage. If I remember correctly, the reset option of the NW-HD1 resides within its operational menu. Therefore, if your unit is still under warranty, please send it immediately for repair service. Do not tell them you drop the unit under any circumstances. Otherwise, you will have to pay for repair charges.

Note: as a last resort, you could also try removing its internal battery to sort of "reset" the unit.
