Can anyone help. My son's Vaio Pocket 40gb has a problem if you stop a track the track carries on at lower volume although the screen display suggests that it has stopped. The control pad will not work and if you switch the device off the screen sticks with the message that it is switching off but it doesent it just gets hot and the only way to turn it off is disconnect the battery. I think the downloads I put on in about january time are the latest. Any help needs to be very clear because i am very new to this technology. My son has gone away for a week and I told him it would be fixed when he got home! I have returned it to the retailers who thought they had solved the problem, but I dont really want to do another 2 1hr round trips.
